Carbon60 uses only high performance Intel multi-core processors and enterprise-grade physical hosts optimized for cloud computing to power its C60 Cloud Servers. All physical hosts are clustered to maximize the reliability and scalability of individual C60 Cloud Servers.

When it comes to cloud computing performance, RAM and CPU are not the whole story. To support the most demanding workloads, C60 Cloud Server’s are connected to a fully redundant 40 Gbps InfiniBand network architecture which delivers up to 10x the private network, server backup, and server migration performance over typical cloud architectures.
Flexible, High Performance Storage Options
To manage the most intensive I/O workloads each C60 Cloud Server is also attached via fiber channel to an enterprise SAN. By default, each C60 Cloud Server’s OS is mounted to a high performance Tier 1 SAN storage LUN. For data storage, choose to attach one or more additional Tier 1 (SAS) or Tier 2 (SATA) SAN storage LUNs to your C60 Cloud Server. These LUNS can be scaled as required.
