As a result of recent growth, we are hiring a Partner Business Manager – Microsoft. The Partner Business Manager – Microsoft will drive partner and field level engagement with the Microsoft partner team and field account teams to generate pipeline and opportunities for Azure cloud professional services and managed services. Your Focus: Research, develop, and track a best practice channel partner program with Microsoft Partner with marketing to develop Carbon60’s go to market strategy and activities to drive growth and visibility within Microsoft field teams Develop and maintain strong executive relationships with key players at Microsoft Work closely with Microsoft Account Teams to position and co-sell Microsoft Azure cloud to new and existing Carbon60 customers Partner with the Carbon60/OpsGuru Sales team to achieve a quarterly target for bookings for professional services and managed services Maintain co-sell pipeline forecast in Salesforce Research and get ahead of competitive analysis, market/industry trends, product launches, territory opportunity, sales forecasts, etc. Management of Microsoft related programs within Carbon60 (includes but is not limited to): Educate and evangelize relevant Microsoft go-to-market programs internally with sales, solution architects, product, and operations teams Track progress towards achievement of milestones for programs Understand Azure cloud funding programs and provide guidance to deal pursuit team on how best to leverage them to benefit Carbon60 and the customer Ensure all competency requirement are met to maintain our partnership status, which includes but is not limited to: Technical Exams & Assessments Yearly renewal IUR management Annual audits (ex. SSPA) What You Bring: 5+ years’ experience in a strategic Sales/Marketing role in the public cloud industry Experience partnering with and selling Microsoft Azure A high degree of knowledge and passion for the cloud hosting industry and related technologies Disciplined sales approach to prospect, qualify and close sales opportunities. Ability to forge trusted relationships through strong interpersonal skills. Excellent communication, presentation, listening and negotiation skills. Highly organized, ability to multi-task.
