As People & Culture Manager, your top priority is to support Carbon60’s dynamic and growing organization as a great place to work. As a key ambassador for Carbon60’s culture, you create and support programs that align our people to our values, and build an enriching employee experience. Your Focus: Act as a trusted partner and advisor to the Chief People Officer. Develop and deliver objectives that align to the corporate strategy to achieve our vision with a core focus on supporting the company’s culture and employee engagement. Lead the people operations and programs including onboarding, performance management, compensation, employee wellness, training and development programs, policies and organizational design. Evaluate and measure key metrics to assess employee engagement, recruitment success and attrition. Coach and mentor the People & Culture Specialist to support and develop growth and impact to the business. Cultivate a culture that reinforces the employee value proposition, celebrates our employees and differentiates Carbon60. Ensure Carbon60’s policies and practices are at minimum in compliance with provincial and federal legislation. Lead internal communications initatives to provide consistent, effective messaging using a variety of tools and approaches to reach our employees across the company. Lead the integration activities of people operations, teams and skills to support one company, one team. Lead events and programs that foster collaboration and community between offices and with remote employees. Engage with employees across all our offices, building a consistent employee experience regardless of location. Promote Carbon60 as a great place to work on appropriate social media platforms (LinkedIn) What You Bring: 5+ years working experience in progressive HR/P&C roles, ideally in the tech sector Undergraduate degree with postgraduate degree/diploma in Human Resources Management CPHR in good standing (or in progress) Experience supporting the high growth strategy of private equity backed technology companies. Experience as a trusted advisor to management, supporting the evolution of the business, leadership and culture. Experience leading, coaching and mentoring to build impactful and engaged People & Culture teams. A passion for building great culture. Strong consulting skills with a demonstrated ability to influence, build consensus and make conscise decisions. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trusted and respectful relationships. Excellent communication skills in one-on-one, large meetings, presentations and written form. Experience and willingness to be hands-on and strategic.
