Toronto, Canada, September 25th, 2020 – Today, Carbon60, a leading Managed Cloud and Security services provider, is pleased to announce that it has placed on The Globe and Mail’s second-annual ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies. “We are honoured to be recognized for the work we’ve done to grow Carbon60 into a world-class organization”, said John Witte, President and CEO of Carbon60. “This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team, which has resulted in strong, steady growth.”
Launched in 2019, the Canada’s Top Growing Companies editorial ranking aims to celebrate entrepreneurial achievement in Canada by identifying and amplifying the success of growth-minded, independent businesses in Canada. Canadian companies are ranked based on three-year revenue growth. Carbon60 earned its spot on the list with three-year revenue growth of 159%.
Over the past three years, Carbon60 has experienced significant growth, including a new investment partner in M/C Partners and the acquisition of Gossamer Threads (GT.net), a managed cloud services company in Vancouver, BC announced in January 2019. In late 2019, Carbon60 acquired Cirrus9, a leading managed cloud hosting solution provider based in Saint John, New Brunswick. These events have positioned Carbon60 to reach new heights to ultimately help customers manage IT better.
“The stories of Canada’s Top Growing Companies are worth telling at any time, but are especially relevant in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic,” says James Cowan, Editor of Report on Business magazine. “As businesses work to rebuild the economy, their resilience and innovation make for essential reading.”
Carbon60 ranks 250th on Canada’s Top Growing Companies list of 400. The full list of 2020 winners, and accompanying editorial coverage, is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine and online at www.tgam.ca/TopGrowing.
