The past year saw significant capital investments towards the buildout of Carbon60’s enterprise secure cloud platforms in central and western Canada to exceed the needs of existing and new customers. The company saw the successful transition of new customers from Canada and Europe including: Travel Brands Inc., Sustainable Infrastructure Foundation and Dentalcorp. Carbon60 continues to attract customers looking for deep expertise in managing hybrid cloud, applications and security.
The company also announced new members to the leadership team to add depth to support Carbon60’s growth. Bik Dutta, VP Marketing & Alliances, will be responsible for leading Carbon60’s marketing initiatives, evolve the service portfolio and launch strategic partnerships to expand the Carbon60 ecosystem. Dutta brings over 15 years of experience in the cloud and managed hosting sector most recently with the Canadian division of CenturyLink (formerly Savvis/Fusepoint). Jeff Azar, VP Operations, will lead Carbon60’s expert engineering and service desk operations organization with a 20 year track record leading global operations teams with disciplined principles to deliver lasting customer experience and loyalty. Azar previously led the global cloud support and client advocacy teams for CenturyLink/Savvis in St. Louis. Aaron Pelz, VP Finance, leads all aspects of the finance function for the company with 15 years experience in financial operations and management in IT, media and consulting sectors, most recently from Rogers and Genesis Advisory.
